Sell Dexcom G7 Sensors (10-Day) — Local Pickup

The standard Dexcom G7 is one of the most common items people call Tonya about. Here is how to identify exactly which version you have before you request a quote.

Retail box or DME box?

Dexcom ships the 10-day G7 sensor in more than one style of packaging. The two you are most likely to have at home are the retail version, which usually comes from a pharmacy counter, and the DME version, which comes from a durable-medical-equipment supplier that ships to your door. They contain the same sensor, but the box is coded differently, and that code is the fastest way for Tonya to know what you have.

  • Retail packaging: look for a product code on the label that ends in 012 or 018.
  • DME packaging: look for STP-AT-013 on the box.

If you cannot find either code, take a clear photo of the side panel with the barcode and lot information and attach it to your quote request. Do not open the box to look inside.

Is it a G7 or a G7 15 Day?

Dexcom also makes a longer-wear version called the Dexcom G7 15 Day. The 15 Day box is clearly marked “15 Day” on the front. If yours does not say 15 Day anywhere, you almost certainly have the standard 10-day G7 described on this page.

What makes a G7 box eligible

Every quote depends on Tonya seeing the actual product, but these are the things she will look at first:

  • The box is sealed and has never been opened.
  • The expiration date is clearly readable and not close. Give her the exact month and year when you call.
  • The packaging is clean, uncrushed and free of water damage.
  • The product is yours to sell and was not obtained under a program that prohibits resale.

Pharmacy labels with your name on them are common. Please do not peel them off in a way that tears the box. Tonya can talk you through what to do with labels when you call.

G7 receivers

G7 receivers are listed in the directory so you can ask, but they may not be accepted at this time. Please call before setting one aside for pickup.

How a G7 pickup works

Call or send a quote request with the version (retail or DME), how many boxes you have, and the expiration dates. Tonya reviews it, gives you an offer subject to inspection, and if the timing works for both of you, arranges a pickup in your area. She checks each box in person before paying.
